Cat. #0015822: SHIRLEY JONES

Choice 8x10-inch black and white portrait from Oklahoma! (1955), boldly signed with her name alone in blue felt-tip marker in-person at a film convention appearance about two decades ago. In very good condition. Beautiful leading lady and powerful vocalist Shirley Jones is best remembered for her portrayals of wholesome girls-next-door in musicals like Oklahoma! (1955), Carousel (1956) and The Music Man (1962), and the widowed mother of five on T.V.'s "The Partridge Family" (1970-1974). In 1961, she snagged an Oscar for Elmer Gantry (1960), cast against type as a vengeful streetwalker.
