Cat. #0014762311: BRETT HALSEY

Choice 8x10-inch black and white youthful portrait, boldly signed with his name alone in blue felt-tip marker in-person at a film convention appearance about 15 years ago. In very good condition. Before settling into soap opera roles in the 1980s, the tough-looking leading man was a B-movie regular at Universal and then at various studios in Europe, typically cast as juvenile delinquents or emotionally-charged hotheads. He was memorable in a mixed bag of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, crime, western, and action flicks like The Glass Web (1953), The Man from the Alamo (1953), Naked Alibi (1954), Revenge of the Creature (1955), Hot Rod Rumble (1957), High School Hellcats (1958), I Want to Live! (1958), Speed Crazy (1958), Gunman's Walk (1958), The Cry Baby Killer (1958), Return of the Fly (1959), Atomic Submarine (1959), The Girl in Lovers Lane (1960), Twice-Told Tales (1963), and Web of Violence (1966). In 1990, he appeared as Douglas Michelson in Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather III.
